Two subjects that we are still not speaking about even nearly enough.
That is something I am hoping to change…
MEET LAURA
I’m Laura - the real life me behind the screen.
Periods & Pleasure is my passion project which was born from a complete lack of education and a burning desire to make a difference.
It took me until I was in my late twenties to learn what a menstrual cycle even was because I’d spent 15 years of my life taking the contraceptive pill and not having a period.
I started learning things about my body that made me feel frustrated and confused about why I hadn’t been taught this sooner. I started having conversations that, to a lot of people, might seem controversial but, to me, are crucial.
I’m here because I wanted to create opportunities to have more of those conversations.
I don’t want to be an expert or a miracle worker.
All I do is provide the tools, the wisdom and the knowledge to help you connect back to yourself and, more importantly, your body.
I simply open the door, it’s up to you to walk through it.
